As of this morning, I am officially done working the night shift! HURRAY! Working this shift really was a great experience (I learned a lot and had no problem staying awake at work) but I am thankful (and by thankful I mean thrilled!) that its over. My schedule has been flipped-turned upside down...I feel like all I ever do is miss Eric, sleep, and eat. When Eric is at school, I'm sleeping. When he comes home, I leave for work. When I come home from work, he leaves for school. Over and over again. I eat dinner before I leave for work, lunch in the middle of the night at work, breakfast when I get home from work (not because I'm really that hungry, but more because its the morning and so I think I need breakfast), wake up to eat a snack or lunch, go back to sleep, wake up for work, and start all over again. I sleep all day before I work and all day the next day when I get off. Like I said, miss Eric, sleep, eat. Yuck.
But no need to complain, because it's over!!!!
On another note, I am completely done with orientation (which is a very scary and exciting thing at the same time)! Last night was my last shift with a preceptor. Thursday is my first shift on my own. Holy cow, exciting!

Hooray! Congratulations, Holly!! I'm so happy for both of you! That will be a very nice change of pace. Holly, ou have such an incredible work ethic. I can't believe you lasted for months and months of the night shift, all the while keeping on a happy face and a great attitude!
You are going to be just great on your own. I'm so excited for you to take this huge step! Great work!
