Eric's Kobe Bryant Year

"Where are we going? We're going to a party, it's a birthday party. It's your birthday party. Happy birthday darling, we love you very very very
very very very very much!" -Bright Eyes
.
Eric's 24th birthday celebration began on Friday night. He and I went out for sushi at Kabuki. We had never been there before and were quite impressed with the ambiance of the restaurant as well as the food. Afterwards we spent over an hour walking around Tempe Marketplace, people watching. People watching=one of my favorite things to do. Love it. Eric is very good about making up stories for every person/couple/group that passed us. We were both rolling laughing at the lives we created for the innocent passersby!
After we came up with an extremely exaggerated tale for each person at Tempe Marketplace, we joined our friends at Waffle House for another celebration. We of course enjoyed the syrup stained tables, servers with greasy hair and yellow teeth, and the tepid metallic tasting tap water.

On Saturday morning Eric opened his gifts from me. We had another mini celebration with party blowers and party hats.

Eric's new ipod. It really does shuffle when you shake it.

On Sunday, Eric's actually birthday, we celebrated with dinner, cake and ice cream, and presents with both of our families. Eric was spoiled sweet with all of his presents! We loved having both of our families together.

Mary Ann hooked Eric up! Eric got a Rubix cube, checkers, a spikey punch ball, a sling-shot airplane, two boxes of candy, and a box of cookies.

"Come here and let me give you a big wet kiss!"

Los Padres

I love my Eric beyond words. Happy birthday love!

Holy Cow! What a celebration! You are a lucky man, Eric. You have a wife that loves you very much!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We hope it was as fun as it looked! Wish we could have been there to celebrate and shower you with gifts, although I hear that once a man receives a Rubik's cube, his life is complete. Is that true? :)
We love and miss you guys,
Jen
PS Michael says thanks for the thoughtful card. You guys are awesome.
