I am the luckiest girl.
I have the best husband. This I know for sure. Eric gives me strength, he lifts me up, he serves me and supports me. He shows me everyday that I am his first priority. He lives to make me happy.
I have the strongest mom. She shows me what it means to keep going, to have faith, to find the good in every situation. She shows me what it means to sacrifice and not complain, to serve others, to never give up, to endure to the end.
I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have the true gospel. I know who I am. I have direction, meaning, and purpose in my life. I know what true happiness is.
I have everything I could ever need.
Over the past month I have reflected a lot on what is most important to me. I have had some experiences that have caused me to feel a whirlwind of emotions. I have been reminded of and learned a lot of things through these experiences:
1. People change.
2. As much as you want to, you cannot control the choices people make, no matter how much you love them.
3. A broken heart is not just a phrase...it is a physical pain you feel when you are saddened by someone you love.
4. Forgiveness will change you.
5. Prayer will strengthen you.
6. Lies hurt.
7. Family is the most important possession you could have.
8. Sometimes you just need to cry.
9. Happiness is a choice.
10. Money will never bring or buy you happiness.
11. Close relationships with those you love will always mean more than physical pleasures and worldly possessions.
12. Serving others will bring you joy.
13. Smiling can change lives.
14. Laughing really is the best medicine.
15. Saying you're sorry isn't easy, but necessary.
16. Judging others will damage you.
17. Loving others will soften your heart.
18. Always be a good example...others look up to you.
19. Don't sweat the small stuff. It's not worth it.
20. Spend you're time wisely, you can never have it back.
21. You only get one chance at each day...make the most of it.
I love my life.
Remember to smile.
Love!
